It works!!

I am a family doctor and have fought disabling “anxiety and depression” for almost 5 decades. His first book was helpful for myself and my patients but I didn’t use it diligently enough so ended up completely “burned out”. I have rediscovered Dr Burns recently (“feeling good together” and “feeling great”) and I can honestly say I am no longer disabled. I used to feel like I was a rat in a terrier’s mouth and now I can almost instantly reduce my anxiety to 10% of what it was by using his techniques. And my (second) marriage is improving too. I am the grateful recipient of Dr Burn’s lifetime of hard work and research!!

This is a GREAT book!

Building off his ground breaking best seller 'Feeling Good', Dr. David Burns truly delivers with his new book 'Feeling Great'.
If you, a loved one, or friend suffers from depression, anxiety or thoughts that ‘I should feel better and be happier’ THIS is the book to read/listen to as it outlines simple and effective methods to overcome your negative thoughts! I cannot recommend this book highly enough to therapists, clients, and the general public.
The audio version is narrated perfectly and is easy to listen to and follow along with. The PDF file that comes with this audiobook outlines everything you need to crush negative thoughts that lead to depression, anxiety and other issues we all face.

***One HUGE hint: Do the "homework" that Dr. Burns suggests throughout the book! If you are still stuck you can reach out to a certified TEAM-CBT therapist, counselor, or coach to help guide you in the right direction.

PDF Supplement IS Now in Audible Library (Update)

When I first bought this audiobook, I couldn't find the supplementary PDF mentioned in the book so I emailed the audio publisher. Now it seems like Audible has fixed the problem and the supplementary PDF is available in my Audible library. I just go to my library, go to this title, and click "view PDF."

Great audiobook!

Best book so far

This is the best book I've heard so far on Audible. I just bought the paper book to stack under my pillow.

This is a workbook

This is hard to follow along with, doing quizzes. You pretty much need the actual book.

The content is good though, and helpful!

this book is very ineffective in audio format

there are too many asks to write things on paper which doesn't work well in audio format. total waste of money.

Great Resource

Great book resource & simple to read and follow. For the concepts to work, you’ll need to do the homework/practice.

Too much info that wasn't necessary

This book is good, or great as it is titled. But the only drawback to it, is they get all into the breakdown of the chapters, and that should be left out of the book, or put into a pdf file or saved until the end of the book. I would put down my full rating, but I was unable to finish, due mainly to the monotone way it sounds...
I tried listening to it again today, except I kept on getting stuck listening to the breakdown of the chapters...
